Community Food Drive

Connecticut Community Bank, N.A.® will once again champion a food drive to benefit Homes with Hope and Operation Hope. Last year your response was overwhelming and we are hoping to be able to provide the food banks with the same this year! We are accepting non-perishable food items and cash donations. Food and donations can be dropped off at the following Westport National Bank® locations during branch hours.

Connecticut Community Bank, N.A. Supports Greenwich Lions Club

David Moore, Branch Manager of Greenwich Bank & Trust, a division of Connecticut Community Bank, N.A. and Greenwich Lions President organized the annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 12th at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich.

Close to 600 kids and parents were in attendance and enjoyed many family activities from an egg hunt to face painting. The event raised $5,000 for low vision projects and other local programs supported by the Greenwich Lions Club.

Connecticut Community Bank, N.A. Donates Computers

Connecticut Community Bank, N.A. recently donated 5 used computers and monitors to the Burroughs Community Center, located in Bridgeport. This donation was a wonderful opportunity to help individuals that may not own a computer to learn computer skills, opening up a whole new world to learning.

Burroughs Community Center has a mission "to provide residents of Greater Bridgeport with program opportunities and facility resources for the purpose of building community cohesiveness and promoting individual growth."

Connecticut Community Bank, N.A. Teams Up with FoodShare

Connecticut Community Bank, N.A. employees recently lent a helping hand to FoodShare to help sort and stock food items. FoodShare is the heart of greater Hartford's fight against hunger, bringing together individuals and organizations to create effective solutions to end hunger in all 42 town of Hartford and Tolland counties.

Connecticut Community Bank, N.A. Helps With Connecticut Food Bank Kids' Backpack Program

Connecticut Community Bank, N.A. employees volunteered on March 19th to help pack meals for Connecticut Food Bank Kids' Backpack Program which helps service approximately 2,500 students from 109 schools including those in Norwalk and Stamford. Our employees helped assemble kid-friendly, ready to eat food items for children in need of weekend access to healthy food that help them learn to grow.

Successful Suit Drive

Connecticut Community Bank, N.A. employees donated over 150 woman's suits, dress tops and dress slacks to the Dress for Success - Bridgeport Chapter. In addition, 10 men's suits, dress slacks and dress shirts were collected for Career Resources.

Dress for Success promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire and a network of support and career development tools for women to thrive in the workplace and in life.
